Worst Songs of the Year
This was a ripe year for horrible music, but these few made the cut for SOTBs 10 worst of 2009...
10. Jadakiss - Who's Real: Jadakiss' take on if your happy and you know it...the anthem for every person out there who exists. Clap your hands for the 10th worst song of the year.
9. Andy Samberg ft. T-Pain: I'm on a Boat: I know, I know this shouldn't be on the list because it's a joke song and is intentionally trying to be bad. But its uber popularity and overplaying by college djs made this song real, real bad. *Additionally, since I can not put every autotune song on here, this song will represent what was the worst genre/technology of the year. Thanks T-Pain.
8. Pitbull - Hotel Room: he just annoys me, learn English already (same goes to you Sean Kingston).
7. Jay Sean ft. Lil' Wayne - Down: Specifically Lil' Wayne's verse, the only thing that saved this song from being further 'Down' was Notas remake on NBC's Sing Off (See previous SOTB SOTD's).

Those 4 (there might be even be more) Britney Spears Songs that sound exactly the same: I never have an idea if I'm hearing Brit count, being on someones radar, looking for some chick named amy, or wanting more. All I know is these songs are all equally obnoxious and combine to win the 5 spot. C'mon Man: Masturbating in Dorm Bathrooms
So apparently the University of Michigan is trying to stop their sexually repressed students from self appreciation in group bathrooms. The University is trying to save their pipes but don't realize the negative effects these measures have on their students pipes. C'mon man put the students first! I can't wait to see how this is enforced. Hidden cameras? Semen sniffing dogs? I would love to hear a story of someone getting busted while, well....(fill in the blank, SOTB is child friendly). It seems like all this is going to do is cut down on the number of showers students take, because really, how many college kids shower just to get clean.

C'mon Man: The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It
This is sad. I don't know if this is real or not (I hope not, but it has an imdb page), but this is a disaster/epic movie-esque parody of Judd Apatow/actually funny movies. C'mon man. What's next a parody of parody movies, but hey that might actually be kinda funny. If I could find a bright spot in this waste of time that could have been written by 12 year olds taking jokes in funny movies one step too far...I know everyone has a friend that looks like Jonah Hill, but the kid in the movie is pretty dam close, he even made his own movie called "Destroying Jonah Hill" (unfortunately the trailer was too bad to post, I guess not every pudgy kid with a jewfro can be funny). That's all I got. Watch this mess of a mock of all things funny, and hey it might even make you laugh, but so do fat people falling and singing Asians (if you are loyal SOTB readers), but noones making a movie out of them (yet).

Some japanese guy who goes by Sal9000 has married Nene Anegasaki, his nintendo ds video game girlfriend. No she is not a person playing as a character like in world of warcraft or those other role playing games, that would be much more normal. He actually married the character in the game, the actual thousands of lines of code that creates the cartoon woman. C'mon man, you married a cartoon character, I don't care how hot she was drawn. C'mon Man: 911 Sexline
In one of the most ridiculous stories ever, this dude used 911 as a sexline in hopes of finding some action. This guy, who obviously watched one too many of those policewoman stripper pornos, made sexual comments to a 911 operator and then asked to meet up with her for a sweet lovemaking sesh. He said he was out of minutes on his phone and 911 was the only number he could call, and that he was very horny. I wish I could have made this up. This blankfaced creepy looking guy (who could resist that face) was thrown in the slammer and now may be getting some slightly different action than expected.

C'mon Man: Attending Own Funeral
It's always interesting to think what the turnout would be like for your funeral, well this guy got a first hand look. A Brazilian man taken for dead decided to pop in for his own funeral. Dude was out getting drunk while his family was misidentifying a dead corpse. He didn't bother telling them before the funeral so he just decided to show up, I blame the hangover, he probably felt worse than the guy in the casket anyway. The best part is some of the funeral attendees, who obviously have watched one too many south american zombie movie, attempted to jump out of the window when the dead man walking entered the room.

City on the Bowl
As promised, SOTB (myself) attended and auditioned to be a 'Charmin Ambassador', a 6 week stint as a bathroom attendant and blogger in midtown Manhattan (see a few posts below). Although that description did not sound very glamorous at all, over 500 semi-human money starved individuals showed up to 'try out' for the gig in front of casting crews and video cameras. SOTB was awarded a kinda sorta call back card, meaning there may be some shot of your favorite bathroom related blog having even more bathroom relevance. Unfortunately, SOTB did not bring cameras to the event, which featured hundreds of weirdos, 'actors', potentially homeless, and costumed people. Top costumes goes to a couple dressed in elaborate superhero of the toilet outfits that looked like they were made by the costume department of Spiderman 3. This self proclaimed 'buxom blonde' put out a craigslist ad soliciting sexual favors for tickets to watch her beloved Phillies play in the world series. C'mon man...if you want to solicit yourself for sex on craigslist everyone knows you can't barter. Craigslist prostitutes are cash only!
